TUBERCULOSIS.
Notification.—The total number of new cases of Tuberculosis
which came to the notice of the Medical Officer of
Health during 1927 was 718, as compared with 706 in 1926,
643 in 1925, 692 in 1924, and 597 in 1923.
The sources of information regarding the 718 new cases
notified in 1927 were as follows :—
Primary notifications on Form A 589
Un-notified at death 52
Transfers from other Sanitary Authorities 69
Naval and military notifications 8
Total 718

Health—gives details regarding the site of disease, sex, and
age grouping of these new cases ; also similar details regarding
deaths from Tuberculosis during the year.
