244 illegitimate births took place in the Borough, 18 in Clapham,
11 in Putney, 181 in Streatham, eight in Tooting, and 26 in Wandsworth.
Of the 244 illegitimate births that occurred in the Borough,
95 belonged to the Borough, 18 to Clapham, 11 to Putney, 33 to
Streatham, six to Tooting, and 27 to Wandsworth.
103 illegitimate births occurred outside the Borough, making
a total of 198. Forty-one of these belonged to Clapham, 24 to
Putney, 59 to Streatham, 15 to Tooting, and 59 to Wandsworth.
The percentage of illegitimate births to total births was 3.55.
