Report of the Medical Officer of Health.
The total number of addresses received from other Councils
was 548, and 232 addresses were forwarded to other Councils.
The number of addresses received has increased by five, and the
number sent decreased by 32. 79 names and addresses were
forwarded to this Borough in error, and are not included in the
above Table.
The number of notices sent to employers during the year was
34, and these had a most satisfactory result.
During the year 29 cases of infective diseases, one of Scarlet
Fever, two of Diphtheria, 25 of Measles, and one of German Measles,
were notified as having occurred in the homes of outworkers. In
none of these cases was it necessary to make any order under
Section 110 of the Factory and Workshop Act.
