REPORT
of the Medical Officer of Health
for the Year 1915.
To the Mayor, Aldermen, and Councillors of the
Metropolitan Borough of Wandsworth.
Sir and Gentlemen,
I have the honour to present the Annual Report on the health
and sanitary condition of the Borough for the year 1915.
Population.
The population of the Borough to the middle of 1915 has been
estimated by the Registrar-General to be 338,998, but in my opinion
this estimate is too high.
Table I. shows the Census population in 1911 in each Ward,
the number of rated hereditaments and the number of persons per
rated hereditament in 1911 and the estimated population to the
middle of 1915.
