32 out of a total of 54 deaths from Diarrhoea, and 18 out of
a total of 44 from Enteritis, occurred in the third quarter of the year.
The number of deaths from Diarrhoea, Zymotic Enteritis, and
Enteritis under one year represents 21.1 per cent, of the total
mortality at that age, compared with 23.3 per cent, in 1914, 21.8 per
cent, in 1913, and 11.6 per cent, in 1912.
In all the deaths under one year from Diarrhœa and Enteritis,
special inquiries were made, and the following Tables show the
nature of the food given.
