Removal of House Refuse.
During the year no alteration has been made in the system of
removal. The whole of the refuse is now collected and disposed
of by contract, with the exception of a portion from the Balham,
Streatham and Tooting Wards, which is disposed of at the Destructor.
The following Table, taken from the report of the Borough Engineer, shows the quantity collected and the method of disposal in the various Wards of the Borough.
