Notification of Births Act.
During the year 6,027 births were notified, 1,036 from Clapham,
453 from Putney, 1,731 from Streatham, 849 from Tooting, and
1,958 from Wandsworth.
89 births were notified from the Workhouse, of which 46
belonged to this Borough, and 43 to other places. Of the 46 which
belonged to this Borough, the home addresses of seven were in
Clapham, of seven in Putney, of 12 in Streatham, of four in Tooting,
and of 16 in Wandsworth.
