The Chart facing this page shows the number of cases notified
in each week during the year.
The greatest number, viz.—50, was notified in the third week
of October, and the smallest, 11, in the fourth week of April, and
the third week of May.
Of the total number of cases notified, viz.-—1,417, 11 or 77
per cent, were under one year, compared with seven, or 72 per cent,
in 1913 ; 258 or i8'2 per cent, were from one and under five years,
compared with 206 or 20"2 per cent. ; 910 or 64 2 per cent, from
five and under 15 years, compared with 614 or 63 2 per cent. ;
154 or 10-9 per cent, from 15 and under 25 years, compared with
102 or 10 5 per cent. ; and 84 or 5-9 per cent, from 25 and under 65
years, compared with 42 or 4-3 per cent.
The number of dwellings in each sub-district and in the whole
Borough in which multiple cases occurred is shown in the following
Table —
