Report of the Medical Officer of Health. 159
(1) The majority examined were under the age of 15.
(2) A higher percentage were tuberculous over 15 than under
15 years of age.
(3) There were more females than males aged 15 and upwards,
but under 15 the numbers of males and females were approximately
equal.
It is hoped that all non-tuberculous contacts will attend every
six or nine months for re-examination, so that, should any of them
develop Tuberculosis, it will be detected at an early stage. Up
to the present patients are availing themselves of this system, and
are attending for re-examination when requested to.
