The greatest number of disinfections was carried oat in
January, this being due to the greater prevalence of the disease in
Wandsworth. The greatest number of cases occurred in January,
February, March, April and May. In the other months of the year
the number of disinfections was small as there were very few cases
in any part of the Borough.

Whooping- Cough.
23 deaths were registered during the year, nine of males and
14 of females, a decrease of 34 compared with 1912, and of 56
compared with the decennial average. Three of the deaths occurred
in Clapham, four in Putney, five in Streatham, two in Tooting, and
nine in Wandsworth.
12 of the deaths were of infants under one year, eight of children
from one and under two years, two from two and under five years,
and one from 25 and under 45 years.
The death-rate was .07 per 1,000, compared with .15 in 1912,
.21 in 1911, and -22 in 1910, and .17 for the whole of London in 1913.
