Table IV. shows the birth-rate in the Borough, in the five
sub-districts, in London, and in England and Wales, for the year,
as well as the rates for the previous 10 years, compared with the
decennial average. The rates for the decennium have been recalculated
on the increase of population as ascertained at the
Census.
