The following Table shows the number of samples taken in
each sub-district of the Borough together with the number taken
per 1,000 of population, and the number of adulterations detected,,
also the percentage of adulterations.

As in 1910, the percentage of samples taken in Tooting is higher
than in the other sub-districts, owing to the fact that there are a
large number of small peripatetic milk vendors in that locality,
most of whom reside outside the Borough.
Table CXIII shows in detail the total number of samples
analysed during the year; the number found adulterated or not
up to standard, and the percentage of adulteration for the year
as well as for the previous five years.
