134 Report of the Medical Officer of Health.
At the end of the year, out of the 471 cases notified since
1904, 226 have died, 132 had removed, 20 were stated to have
recovered, in 46 no inquiries were made, while 47 cases were left
on the Register.
Of the total number of cases notified, one was from one to
five years, three from five to 15 years, 11 from 15 to 25 years, 16
from 25 to 45 years, 10 from 45 to 65 years and one over 65 years.
The total number of cases of Pulmonary Tuberculosis alive at
the close of the year was 734, 480 Poor Law cases, 207 Hospital
cases, and 47 private cases.
Table LXVII. is a combined Table and shows the total number
of cases notified since 1904, with the number of deaths in each year.
In all 1,565 cases have been notified, and of these 543 or
347 per cent, died, 209 or 133 per cent, have removed, 31 or 19
per cent, are stated to have recovered, in 48 or 31 per cent, no
inquiries were made, while 734 or 47 per cent, are still on the
Register.
