Of the 1,199 cases removed to hospital, in 102 or 8.5 per cent.
the diagnosis was incorrect, compared with 12.6 per cent. in 1910,
9.5 per cent. in 1909, and 6.9 per cent. in 1908.
There has been a marked decrease in the percentage of incorrect
diagnosis compared with 1910.

In 1910, the percentage of cases of mistaken diagnosis for
the whole of London was : for Scarlet Fever 9.5, compared with
6.8 in 1909 ; for Diphtheria 14.1, compared with 16.8; and for
Enteric Fever 24.8, compared with 37.9.
Cerebro-spinal Fever.
Five cases of Cerebro-spinal Fever were notified during the
year (one from Clapham, one from Streatham, one from Tooting, and
two from Wandsworth), compared with five in 1910.
All the cases died, three from Cerebro-spinal Meningitis, one
from Posterior-basic Meningitis, and one from acute Miliary Tuberculosis.
