by Mr. R. G. Austin, who afterwards passed the 2nd division civil
service examination and on leaving was replaced by Mr. R. T.
Mayrick. Mr. T. Cooper, porter, West Hill Library, has retired
on superannuation allowance, his place being filled by Mr. J. A.
Bright. Mr. J. Hawes, porter, Garratt Lane Library, was replaced
by Mr. J. Phillips.
The attention of the Librarian and his Assistants at the three
libraries was all that could be desired, and they are thanked for
same.
