The following works have been carried out, viz. :—

Church LaneKerb taken up and relaid to new line on concrete and carriageway formed with hardcore and coated with granite macadam where widened, on the north side from the entrance to Tooting Bee Asylum to a point about 100 ft. west of Lucien Road. The carriageway on the south side has been widened and formed with hardcore and coated with granite macadam from a point about 85 ft. west of Lessingham Avenue, to a point about 100 ft. east of Lucien Road. 28 new gullies have been fixed between Mitcham Road and Tooting Bee Road and 29 of the existing gullies have been shifted to new positions5722I
By arrangement with the London County Council a strip of land on the north side between Mantilla Road and the entrance to Tooting Bee Asylum has been taken from Tooting Common and added to the public way, and the fence set back to the new line20109
