These figures show that 14.5 per cent. of the samples
analysed under this head were reported against.
III. Cereals.
These were as under:—

32 samples. |
All the above were found genuine with the exception of one
sample of Arrowroot (No. 105), which was adulterated with 90
per cent. Tapioca. These results show that 3.12 per cent. of the
samples analysed in this division were adulterated.
IV. Meats.
The following were included in this class:—

Of these, eight samples of Sausage, one of Brawn, and one of
Bacon were found genuine, while 14 samples of Sausage were
reported against, as follows:—
