Report of the Medical Officer of Health.
The number of deaths and the death-rate in each sub-district
was as follows:—Clapham 78 and 1.12; Putney 34 and 1.06;
Streatham 83 and '76; Tooting 20 and .60; and Wandsworth 83
and .82.
Two of the deaths occurred at ages from five to 15 years, two
from 15 to 25 years, 170 from 25 to 65 years, and 124 over 65 .
years.

The following Table shows the number of deaths according to the part of the body affected.

In Institutions within the Borough nine deaths occurred from
Cancer, two males and seven females. Four of these deaths
occurred in the Hostel of God, one in Tooting Home, and four in
private nursing homes.
