During the year 957 visits were made by the Sanitary
Inspectors in cases of Measles, 260 in Clapham, 245 in Putney,
164 in Streatham, 174 in Tooting, and 114 in Wandsworth.
The next Table shows the number of premises disinfected
after Measles in each sub-district for each month of the year.
The total number of premises disinfected was 418 (146 in
Clapham, 108 in Putney, 53 in Streatham, 43 in Tooting, and
68 in Wandsworth), compared with 1,012 in 1909, 884 in 1908,
955 in 1907, 902 in 1906, 798 in 1905, and 1,115 in 1904.
The greatest number of disinfections was carried out in
December, this being due to outbreaks in Clapham and Putney.
The greatest number of cases occurred in June, July, November
and December. In March, August and September the number of
disinfections was small as there were very few cases in any part
of the Borough.

Table XLIX. shows the number of cases of Measles and
other non-notifiable diseases notified by the teachers of the
elementary schools in the Borough.
In all, 4,617 cases were notified, compared with 4,342 in 1909.
