No cases of Small-pox were notified during the year, none in
1906, 1907, 1908, or 1909, one in 1905, six in 1904, 28 in 1903, and
127 in 1902.
687 cases of Scarlet Fever were notified, compared with 987
in 1909, 1,232 in 1908, and 1,330 in 1907; of Diphtheria 284, compared
with 380, 581 and 629; of Enteric Fever 54, compared with
66, 60 and 70; of Puerperal Fever 20, compared with 26, 14 and
25; and of Erysipelas 182, compared with 192 and 203.
Compared with 1909 there has been a decrease in the number
of cases of all the notifiable diseases with the exception of
Cerebro-spinal Meningitis.
