All these were found genuine, with the following two exceptions:—

Decoc. Aloes Co. 196 55 per cent. deficient in extractives
and alcohol.
Medicine as prescribed 328 0.074 grains per fluid oz. total
alkaloids in excess of that
prescribed.
These results show that of the articles analysed in this class
9.09 per cent. were unsatisfactory.
IV.—Meats.
