In Clapham, out of a total of 91 cases, 37 or 40.6 per cent.
occurred in children attending school; in Putney, of 39 cases, 19
or 48.7 per cent.; in Streatham, of 137 cases, 56 or 40.8 per cent.;
in Tooting, of 89 cases, 27 or 30.3 per cent.; in Wandsworth, of
225 cases, 83 or 36.9 per cent.; and in the whole Borough, of 581
cases, 222 were in attendance at schools in the Borough, and 11
at schools outside the Borough, a total of 233, or 40.1 per cent.
Of the remaining cases, viz.:—338, in 54 or 9.3 per cent., the
diagnosis was incorrect, and 294 or 50.6 per cent. were not in
attendance at school.
