The total number of Standposts is 224.
The total quantity of water used in the Borough was 60,873,370
gallons, at fid. per 1,000 gallons.
In addition to the above, the following quantities of water have been used for the several purposes as shown below:—

DUSTING.
This is dealt with in various ways in different parts of the
Borough as shewn below:—
A.—Refuse from Clapham North Ward and greater part of
South Ward, also a small portion from Lower Streatham
is sent by rail to shoots, etc.
B.—From portions of Clapham South and Streatham Wards,,
and Balham ana Tooting Wards, disposed of at Destructor.
C.—From Wandsworth and Putney Wards, taken by barges
from Putney and Bell Lane Wharves, also a portion from
the Wandsworth Wards is disposed of at Shoot outside the
Borough.
