PRECEPTS OF LONDON COUNTY COUNCIL.
171. The following are the amounts of the precepts of the London County Council paid by the Borough during the last six years, viz.:—
| 1901-2 | £95,192 9s. 0d. = 15d. in the £ on assessable value. |
| 1902-3 | £101,697 19s. 6d. = 15½d. „ „ |
| 1903-4 | £114,021 19s. 10d.= 16¾d. „ „ |
| *1904-5 | £184,394 13s. 6d.= 25.87d. „ „ |
| †1905-6 | £262,073 17s. 6d.= 35d. „ „ |
| ‡1906-7 | £289,905 10s. 4d.= 36d. „ |
| §1907-8 | £291,993 6s. 8d.= 35d. „ |
(The foregoing rates are based upon the full assessable value. If
empty houses, rates irrecoverable, and cost of collection are taken into
account at least 1d. in the £ per annum should be added to arrive at the
rate actually paid.)
