At the close of 1906 there were 352 milkshops on the
Register, 59 have been added in 1907 and 48 removed, leaving 363
on the Register at the end of 1907.
During the year 981 inspections were made of these premises
and 42 notices, chiefly for cleansing, were served.
Special attention has again been given this year to the enforcing
of the Milkshop Regulations, and the notice of all registered
purveyors of milk was called to the regulations which deal with
the protection of milk against infection or contamination.
