Weir Hospital Trust
21. In October last the Council considered the subject of an
agreement which a majority of the Trustees and
Committee of Management of the Weir Trust had
entered into with the Committee of the Bolingbroke Hospital for
expending a large part of the Trust Funds towards the completion
and maintenance of that hospital, and an application which
had been made to the Charity Commission to publish a scheme in
accordance with the agreement, and passed the following resolutions
thereon, viz. :—

three members of the Committee for the administration of the Weir Trust,
regrets the payment of the sum of ,£5,000 out of the funds of the Trust to

should be devoted to that purpose.
(b) That the Trustees and the Charity Commissioners be respectfully
requested not to prepare or concur in any scheme for the administration
of the Trust which includes the expenditure of any part of the fund in
providing or maintaining a building outside the Parish of Streatham in
which parish Mr. Weir lived and was specially interested.
