The case-rate for the year is .2 above that for the year 1906,
but is .2 under the average for the 10 years 1897.1906.
The highest case-rate was in Tooting, and the lowest in
Clapham.
The case-rate for the Borough is .2 above that for the whole
of London, but the death-rate is .04 per 1,000 lower.
The death-rate per 1,000 in the Borough was .12, compared
with .16 in 1906, .11 in 1905, and .23, the decennial average.
In Clapham the death-rate was .03, in Streatham .08, in
Tooting .40, and in Wandsworth .20 per 1,000, while in Putney no
deaths occurred among the 65 cases notified.
Clapham, Putney and Streatham show a decrease compared
with the previous year, but in Wandsworth there was a slight
increase, and in Tooting 1 large increase in this rate.
