The following Table shows the number of samples taken in each sub-district of the Borough, together with the percentage per 1,000 of the population, the number of adulterations detected and the percentage of adulteration.

Samples of milk have been taken in course of transit on
delivery at Railway Stations and Public Institutions in the
Borough, every Station and Public Institution having been visited.
In one case only during the year was a sample of milk taken at
a private house at the request of the occupier, the other sample
taken at a private house being one of butter.
The following Table gives the result of the analysis of such samples.
