Compared with the decennial average there has been a considerable
reduction in the mortality from this disease, the rate for
this year being the lowest yet recorded.
Two deaths from Tubercular disease of the Lungs occurred
in infants under one year, four in persons from one to five years,
eight from five to 15 years, 41 from 15 to 25 years, 197 from 25
to 65 years, and 15 over 65 years. From other Tubercular diseases
40 occurred under one year, 30 from one to five years, 12
from five to 15 years, seven from 15 to 25 years, and 20 from 25
to 65 years.
The list which follows gives the occupation of those who died
from Tubercular disease of the Lungs during the year.
