In Institutions within the Borough 12 deaths from Cancer
occurred, four males and eight females. One of these occurred in
the Fever Hospital, Tooting, one in the Tooting Home, seven in
the Hostel of God, one in Tooting Bec Asylum, and two in private
nursing homes.
64 of the deaths, 34 of males and 30 of females, occurred in
External Institutions, 25 in the Union Infirmary, and 39 in
General and Special Hospitals.
59 out of the total number of deaths occurred among females
from Cancer of the Breast or Uterus, compared with 47 in 1905,
and 69 in 1904.
