No cases of Small-pox were notified during the year, and only
one, which proved not to be Small-pox, in 1905, compared with
six in 1904, 28 in 1903, and 127 in 1902.
1,069 cases of Scarlet Fever were notified, compared with
1,494 in 1905, 774 in 1904, and 882 in 1903; of Diphtheria 566,
compared with 348 and 406; of Enteric Fever 96, compared with
96 and 50; of Puerperal Fever 25, compared with 18 and 14; and
of Erysipelas 273, compared with 253 and 267.
Compared with 1905 there has been an increase in the number
of cases of Diphtheria, Puerperal Fever and Erysipelas, and a
decrease of Scarlet Fever, while Enteric Fever is the same.
