Report—Public Analyst.
As in 1904 all the drugs examined proved to be genuine.
These included :—

Black Pudding | 1 ,, |
6 samples |
All these samples were found to be genuine, whereas, in 1904,
12.5 per cent, adulteration was recorded in this division.
V.—Confectionery.
Only one sample was submitted under this head and proved to
be genuine.
In conclusion, I may add that the Food and Drug supply of the
Borough has markedly improved during the year, the percentage of
impurity having fallen from 11.33 in 1904 to 7.62 in 1905.
