The above results show that 7.25 per cent, of the milk sample
were adulterated, which indicates a distinct improvement, the pel
centage of impurity in this direction being 156 in 1904. In the case
of the butter, however, the percentage of adulteration has risen from
7.2 in 1904 to 8.96 in 1905.
