Table LXXVIII. shows the nature of the trades carried on in the
workshops inspected.
It will be noted that to some extent the number of miscellaneous
premises under the heading of workplaces shows a marked diminution,
this being due to want of employment.
The total number of trades carried on in the Borough does not
coincide with the number of workshops and workplaces, as in many
instances several trades are carried on in the same premises.
