Report of the Medical Officer of Health.
The next Table shows in detail the work of the Inspectors in
workshops where males are chiefly employed.
The Table shows the work done in each sub-district and is grouped
under five chief divisions:—(1) Factories; (2) Workshops; (3)
Domestic Workshops; (4) Workplaces; (5) Outworkers' Premises.
The total number of premises inspected was 2,023, compared with
1,849 in 1904, and re-inspected 1,222, compared with 1,014 in 1904.
780 of the inspections were in Clapham, 251 in Putney, 421 in
Streatham, 117 in Tooting, and 454 in Wandsworth.
No workshops where males were employed were reported to H.M.
Inspector, but 16 were reported by the Inspector to this Council.
