FACTORIES AND WORKSHOPS.
No change has been made in the system of registration during the

The Tables which follow are similar to those used in 1904, and
the whole of the work done by both the male and female Inspectors is
there summarised in a concise form.
The total number of workshops on the Register was 1,701,
including 162 retail bakehouses, 125 workshop laundries, 299 domestic

Including all factories, workshops, workplaces and outworkers'
premises there were on the Register at the end of 1905 3,045 premises,
compared with 2,987 in 1904, and 2,676 in 1903.
