Report of the Medical Officer of Health.
Cards were left at each house so that the Sanitary Authority might
be informed when the case or cases ha4 recovered so that the necessary
disinfection could be carried out.
The next Table shows the number of premises disinfected after
Measles iu each sub-district for each month of the year. The increase
in March was due to the number of cases in Putney, but this increase
in that sub-district did not continue, as only 22 premises were disinfected
in April and 1.3 in May in that sub-district.
In August only 22 and in September only 10 premises were disinfected,
this being due to the fact that during these months very few
cases were notified from the public elementary schools.
In this Table it will also be noted that the maximum number of
cases occurred in Clapham in October, in Putney in March, in Streatham
in November, in Tooting in December, and in Wandsworth in
January.
The total number of premises disinfected was 798, compared with
1,115 in 1904.
