diseases notified during the year, the number removed to Hospital, the
number that died in Hospital and at home, as well as the total number
of deaths :—

Only one case of Small-pox was notified and that was returned
home the same day as it was notified from the Metropolitan Asylums
Board Hospital that it was not a case of that disease. In 1903 28
cases were notified; in 1902 127; and in 1901 31.
1,494 cases of Scarlet Fever were notified, compared with 774 in
1903, and 882 in 1902; of Diphtheria 348, compared with 406 and
532; of Enteric Fever 96, compared with 70 and 105; of Puerperal
