The Emigrants' Information Office has sent a notice board for use
in Allfarthing Lane Library.
Agreeably to the orders of the Borough Council the betting news
has been obliterated in the newspapers; also the date of issue is
stamped in each book as issued.
On Tuesday, 5th April, Mr. A. Nash commenced his duties as
Librarian-in-charge at Allfarthing Branch Library, vice Mr. W. T.
Bradley promoted to Putney. Mr. W. J. Clark, Junior Assistant at
West Hill, took up an appointment in the Holborn Public Libraries,
and was succeeded by Mr. W. H. Kirchner, in July.
Messrs. Willis offered to print free of charge a Quarterly Guide.
The offer was accepted, and the first number was being prepared at
the end of the financial year.
