Table II. shows the number of deaths which
occurred during the year in out-lying institutions, and
it is arranged in accordance with the new tables issued
by the Local Government Board.
The total number of deaths was 198 (102 of males
and 90 of females) compared with 193 in 1899. 118
of these deaths occurred in the Union Infirmary, 60
in general or special hospitals, aud 20 in the hospitals
of the Metropolitan Asylums Board.
