To the Mayor, Aldermen and Councillors of the
Metropolitan Borough of Wandsworth
Gentlemen,
We have the honour to present our Annual Report
on the Health, Sanitary Condition, and Vital Statistics
of the Metropolitan Borough of Wandsworth for the
year 1900.
The report shows that a large amount of Sanitary
and administrative work has been dealt with.
The general scheme of the report is the same
as in former years, but the Tables include the new
Tables ordered by the Local Government Board.
We are glad to be able to report that the
health of the Borough has been all during the year
in a very satisfactory condition, as evidenced by the
remarkably low death-rate, and by the diminution in
the number of cases of infectious diseases notified.
