Medical Officers of Health Annual Report.
made orders for the work to be done, with a fine of 28s.
and Ss. costs in one instance.
Twelve summonses were issued for infringements of
the Bye-laws, 10 of these were withdrawn on payment of
the costs, the work having been satisfactorily done, and in
two cases the defendant was fined 5s. and costs.
Three summonses were issued under the Metropolis
Local Management Acts in respect of new buildings, and
the work having been done, they were withdrawn on
payment of the costs.
I, again, express my satisfaction with the work done
by the Sanitary Inspectors, who have all discharged their
difficult duties well.
