To the Board of Works for the Wandsworth District.
Gentlemen,
" We have the honour to present our Annual Report
on the health, sanitary condition, and vital statistics of
the Wandsworth District for the year 1892.
We have adhered to the plan followed in former
Reports as to the general arrangement.
The Report shows that a very large amount of
sanitary work has been performed during the year, and
the field of action of the Sanitary Authority is widened
almost annually by fresh legislation.
During 1892 serious epidemics of scarlet fever and
influenza existed, but excepting for these conditions, the
general healthiness of the District has been well
maintained.
We have the honour to remain,
Gentlemen,
Your obedient Servants,
The Medical Officers of Health for the
Wandsworth District.
