Death-rate.
The number of deaths of infants under 1
year was 147, and the rate per thousand births
(that is per thousand infants living under 1 year of age)
was 128, compared with 149 in 1890.
Social
Position.
The proportion of deaths in the various social
grades was as follows: —
Nobility and Gentry 3.5 per cent.
Professional Classes 7.0 „
