It will be seen that 462 deaths occurred in outlying
institutions, of which 197 were in the Union Infirmary,
250 in the general and special hospitals of the metropolis,
and 15 in the Asylums' Board Hospitals. In this table
the deaths of West Battersea inhabitants occurring in
Union Infirmary (61 in number), are not included. As
the total deaths occurring in the Union Infirmary (261
in number) have teen already included in the 4,398
deaths occurring within the district, there only remain
