Adulterated Samples
(i) Ammoniated Tincture of Quinine
The sample of ammoniated tincture of quinine was obtained from a
local drug store and the Public Analyst stated that the ammonia was 1.1%
deficient and appeared to be old stock.
Upon an inspection of the stock at the shop all other bottles of
this tincture were found to be "water clear" and not old stock.
A warning letter was sent to the firm.
(ii) Cream Cheese
A sample of what purported to be "Cream Cheese" was purchased from
