The number of Stoke Newington residents cleansed at the Islington Treatment Centre during 1962 was as follows:-

INCONTINENT LAUNDRY SERVICE
This service is available to aged or infirm residents in the borough
who are incontinent and unable to arrange for the laundering of their bed
linen, etc.
During the year, 3,171 articles of soiled bedding were laundered.
