Method of Disposal of Condemned Food
The method of disposal of unsound food has remained the same
throughout the year. When a shopkeeper in the borough has any
food for condemnation, he advises the Public Health Inspector who
visits the premises, inspects the food and subsequently issues a
Condemnation Certificate.
The food is then collected by a vehicle from the Public
Health Department and taken to Ashburton Grove for disposal.
