During the year, 65 inspections were carried out by the District
Public Health Inspectors in respect of the issue and revocation of
Certificates of Disrepair.

Section 17
In pursuance of the provisions of this section a Closing Order was
imposed on one house in the borough which was unfit for human habitation.
Section 18
Closing Orders were made under the above section, in respect of 8
basement rooms (three properties).
Section 27
Closing Orders previously imposed on fourteen basement rooms
(seven properties) were determined during the year following the execution
of the works required to render them fit for human habitation.
