LABORATORY FACILITIES
Bacteriological examinations have been carried out by the Public Health Laboratory Service at County Hall. The following is a statement of the specimens submitted to the Laboratory during 1954:-

HEALTH EDUCATION
During the year, pamphlets were distributed at the Public Health
counter, through the Public Libraries and through the Medical Practitioners.
The pamphlets covered Diphtheria, Influenza, Whooping Cough, Care
of the Feet, Care of the Teeth, Rodent Control and atmospheric Pollution.
Enquiries were also dealt with personally in the Public Health
Department.
